Luker Bros. (Removals and Storage) Ltd can arrange to
ship any consignments of household removal goods, art,
antiques, furniture and personal effects to anywhere
in the World either by sea or air depending on the time
scale and budget.
There
are four services available:
Full Container Load
If you are shipping your whole household contents or goods
that will fill a full container all your effects will
be individually export packed, wrapped, listed and loaded,
either at your home or in our warehouse and shipped through
to the destination where the agent will arrange the customs
clearance, unloading, unpacking and setting up in your
new home. The price that we give you will include all
services from door to door including normal customs clearance
charges and full destination services. In certain countries
there are some exclusions but these will be detailed when
you receive a Quotation from us.
Groupage container service
If you are shipping just a few items or a small consignment
of goods to a reasonably accessible destination we can
provide a groupage service. Your effects are collected
and then export packed, wrapped and listed at our depot
and then loaded into a container with other shipments.
At destination the container is unloaded and each shipment
loaded for onward groupage delivery. This service is cost
effective although it can take longer than a direct shipping
service.
Shipping by crate or lift van
If you are shipping your effects to a remote destination
where there is no full or groupage container service they
will have to be packed, wrapped, listed and then packed
into your own individual wooden crate/case. This crate/case
is taken to the dock for export and loaded onto the ship
for transit and will be handled individually at destination
for clearance and delivery.
Shipping by Air
If you have a small shipment or goods you need to send
urgently we provide a service by air which is quick and
direct but is more expensive than shipping by sea. We
can also provide assistance with arranging for pets to
be shipped by air.
